42nd St. Times Square ~ 9:30am

Extra from last week.

You struggle to get out of the house on time, squeeze onto an overcrowded train, miss an express train. All you're trying to do is get to work with something like a smile on your face. Then you come face to face with her. This woman's voice was FILLING this hall. The only take away message I got out of it was we're all going to hell. If you have a problem with telemarketers image getting stuck on a train or a long hallway with this particular brand of marketer. It is far and away the most angering thing to be dealt with undergound. Especially before coffee...

  1. This is a great photo. I feel like I can hear her yelling at me. Great capture - and wonderful colors!

  2. Captured very well.

  3. Travis your photoblog is one of the few that i go out of my way to look at. i am always keen to see what you have been able to capture on your daily commute. I can always seem to look into your photos and find many stories. its like your pictures are taking me on a journey of their own. keep it up!

  4. I think one of the things that works so well here is that she's the only one not in motion yet she's clearly the most animated.

  5. It is a great shot, as always. Like Abe said, it feels just like she's yelling at me. I guess she got her wish of being heard though.

  6. She's Gorgeous, Genius, SENSATIONAL. :-) And she's happy to tell you so.

  7. Well, I wonder how she'd feel to know she's in your blog, Travis? You're definitely going to hell now ;-) When you take these shots, do you even feel a little shy aiming your camera right at them? I know I do every time I take a photo on the Tokyo subway... Keep it coming!

  8. Jesus, I'm sure she's right!!! :-)
