  1. my attention focused on their hands..to me it seems they need a strong, steady base to lean on..her head, his back and the bike.. great shot!

  2. Great image; you can't help but wonder whether there's a story there somewhere, that all 3 of them are connected somehow

  3. On the catwalk- on the catwalk yeah.

  4. What has happened the the inevitable ubiquitous ''male gaze'' ? How can those guys not be looking at the woman? Lots of questions to ask!

  5. Nice capture. I like the juxtaposition of the female and center subjects. Cheers...Bill

  6. Bonjour,
    Well done composition..Attitudes..Bravo!

  7. I've been a long time fan but this is my first comment. I am starting to realize that one reason your photos work so well is that you leave their nuances along and don't try to make them textbook. For example, if I had taken this Pic my first instince would be to try to straighten the tilt. But that would be wrong - the shots with tilts, blurs, and unusual lighting are what really capture the feel of being in the subway.

  8. Great shot! great composition!

  9. Thanks for this and all the other great photos!

Thanks also to Steve (above) for the observation. That is, I see now, part of what makes them work for me!

Now I can go back through the archive and see with new eyes!

  10. His hip is noticeably more curvaceous than hers, and why should the subway be different than your average bar? (You know, men on one side of the platform - er - establishment, women on the other). She's probably catching an express, them a local.

  11. Beautiful picture I have to say. Just Great!

  12. Very interesting ....

  13. Tell us when you are back!
