NEWS: This just in, I've been awarded the Photoblog of the Year award! There were so many fantastic photoblogs nominated I'm having a very hard to believing this. I keep going back to the website just to make sure I didn't see it wrong. Thank you to everyone that nominated me, to the judges for their time reviewing all the wonderful sites, my awesome audience and the MTA for keeping the subway going. I hear the music coming up.....

Windows ... Don't you just love them. The overlapping relationship between the exterior, the interior and the reflection of what is behind the camera is always intrigueing. Color and color, layers and layers! Monet would be proud.
This is a wonderful capture. The figure, the colorful subway entrance, the light, the layers of reflection providing remarkable depth all work together beautifully. One of your best.
I love how the word is split into two in this 20s era sign: Down Town.
A subtle reminder that the financial district's geographic location has become the generic title for any collection of tall buildings that centers an urban area, worldwide.
I mean, "Downtown Los Angeles" really makes no logical sense.
