  1. Nice shot. I love how everything is so sharp except for the runners.

  2. Did they get in? Please tell us.

  3. I love the contrast between the passive train and the anxious determination of the two women.
Yeh .. sure they got the train ... I'm an optomist!

  4. Travis, will you be posting any photographs from the exhibition?

  5. I think there's an optimistic optometrist nearby ;)

Travis, first time I comment: Congrats on the exhibition, I wish I could go, but won't be traveling to NY for some time. In your site I have found many very good pix. I think you'll end up with a very nice set, that in time can stand side by side with Bruce Davidson's. That's an idea for curators: Travis & Bruce Subway Series. Two photographers, two visions, two eras. The seventies by Davidson, Thirty years on by Ruse...

  6. If that's the F train, and the conductor I had recently, there's no way they made it. This conductor would close the door before people had even finished getting off the train, let alone allow people to get on it. And then he would yell at you for even trying.

Travis, your show is phenomenal. Congratulations on such a successful opening. I was there the first night, and wow, it was crowded. And so many great shots.
