R Train ~ Union Street ~ 8:45am

  1. This image is very fascinating. We have some canvases, with splashes of primary colors spilliing over I imagine they are modern graphics. The androgynous person on the left (man? woman? is that a purse?) is possibly the artist. The working class-type guy in the center is left to view the painting as he rides. I'm sure he had an opinion of the artwork. Wouldn't I be surprised to discover that he was the artist.

I am always amazed at the "stuff" people transport on the subway. These do not look like small canvases, they're not wrapped....amazing.

  2. Very interesting; just another day to work... and the man in the center is thinking of other places he could be.

  3. I dont want to become the man on the right, but rather the man on the left. I dont want to commute to work everyday with that expression of dread of the day ahead; wishing that i was somewhere else.
The guy on the left look so relaxed, he knows exactly what he's doing. A nice contrast between the two.

  4. An art critique in motion! It must be a deep painting...

  5. Both of them, so focused on their own thoughts...while you focused on them. Great candid. I doubt they ever noticed you.

  6. wow

  7. very nice work, thanks/.
