  1. Is this some Hollywood Blockbuster's movie set, or is this an NYC train station. Wow!! The MTA was planning on making a Matrix 4 under here, man. This is COOL!! Love the shot. The angle. Could you guess what the first word was that came to mind....CLEAN!!!!! WOW. You go MTA!

ANNOUNCER: Coming this Summer.....to a Theatre near you....

Meet Angie, she's trapped in a world of Subways...
Distraught and confused she spins to find directions to the nearest uptown-bound 7 Train....
She's eternally doomed to damnation, if she misses her exam...(the papers in her hand..)
Her future life is on the line.....
But little did she know, her past was right beside her -- and it had a plan..
....to ensure she would be doomed to a life of pain for the times she insulted him in the past...
...(Remember Johnny from the seat behind her in Junior High who she always rejected?)
He is Mr. X in Black and he is back!!!

Meet the "Past is Present in Grand Central"...

    Opening Soon....

(I obviously had too much to drink..... :)

  2. Brilliant shot, not as well composed as yesterdays, but this is still a great image.

  3. The girl looking back is great.

  4. i like this and i dont know why. :-D

  5. The Matrix maybe......to me more Fritz Lang's Metropolis comes to mind. Cold, mechanical, industrial in feel. Strong converging lines of perspective heighten the effect.

I see you're entering another burst of creativity.

  6. Neat shot! Was she turning to look at you? I just LOVE the symmetry you've composed here.

  7. great shot of daily life ;)

  8. Very nice in an industrial kind of way. If, like me, you enjoy the industrial aesthetic and grit of the subway (albeit with an Eastern European flavor), then check out the movie "Kontroll". It's filmed ENTIRELY in the Budapest subway system (the film never makes it above ground) and, in some ways, i's like a stylish Hungarian music video of Travis's photos. The look of this photo reminds me of scenes from "Kontroll".

Keep up the great work, Travis.

  9. symmetry

  10. Beam me up, Scottie!

  11. beautiful!

  12. nice shot. Great perspective!
