Pacific Street Brooklyn ~ waiting for the M/R ~ 8:30am

Yup worst train line in the system has it's benifits. You get to look down long uninterupted tracks.

  1. AWESOME PIC!

  2. This reminds me of a abstract of a running figure. The detail in such a dark shot is amazing. The tracks and light leading my eye deeper into the tunnel is grand. I love the blue light on the track in the foreground.

  3. The light looks like it's dripping down the walls. Haunting and beautiful.

  4. Tilted. The walls, the tracks, everything. It tilted my mind, and blew it away. I rarely say this, but AWESOME! EXCELLENT!

  5. The tracks ....cold steel curving into the distance. The lights....the illumination dripping down the wall. The blue, the white...awesome.
I'lll never get over your ability to capture a photo under such difficult lighting circumstances.

  6. Of all the outstanding photographs you have posted, this one is my favorite. I cannot imagine how you even captured this photo without a tripod ... I would love to know how you took this photo.

  7. There really was nothing special in my exposure for this image. iso 800, 60th @ F4. 50mm lens. All those lights filled in enough details to make the exposure possible. Since I was mainly concerned with the highlights I didn't use the camera meter since that would have not liked this scene. I used the lcd like a polaroid. I would shot a frame and then look at the histogram to see if it was there. There was another frame with a train coming at me. I liked this one better.

  8. straight outa 'styles wars'!!!

  9. I espacially love this image. It shows us that the end of the tunnel is not so far. We only have to follow the light and the line. Go on Travis, show us the way and continue your amazing job.
    Hi from France...
