  1. nice shot. i like the expressions on all the people in the background.

  2. The posture, the women's bags, and the supporting players, all pure dead brilliant.

  3. the man with hat and umbrella is extraordinary - and the woman with the rucksack, too.
    Cool shot, again and again.

  4. Great shot. I love the lady yawning(?) on the very right.

  5. As if on cue, all the people in more colorful clothing step back, arrange themselves in a frame around the man in the suit and hat. What's at work here is a photographer with an eye, that sees the shot as it unfolds, edits quickly in their mind and grabs the shot. And that's the difference, the photographer is attuned and "sees" what others do not stop to notice.

  6. I really like the woman yawning on the right. ;-)

  7. What the heck is on that guy's head (just to the right of the guy with the umbrella)?

It looks like he's giving you the eye and pointing with his thumb at umbrella guy.

    love this one.

    s.

  8. The object to which you refer is a wet hand towel. Did I mention it was 99 degrees yesterday. So you can assume it was a fair bit hotter underground. I have no idea how this guy with the hat was standing the heat.

  9. Is that Burgess Merideth?

  10. Nice, I love the expression on the face of the guy with the umbrella. Clessic.

  11. Excellent.

  12. This is one of those pictures that I can stare at for a long time, just observing all the little details. Well done.

  13. anon,

that "guy" pointing his thumb is probably just covering his mouth from yawning, too. there are a few people yawning in this picture, i like it.

  14. There's just so many people to see in this little snapshot of life underground. Again - what camera do you use?

  15. this is a really cool man ... haha :-))))

  16. Great shot! What a look.

  17. A great shot. I like.

  18. Great picture. It's a Hitchcock cameo moment before the camera passes him by and follows James Stewart or Cary Grant off into the corner.
