F Train ~ 4th ave Brooklyn ~ 3:30pm

Left work early today. It's a different crowd in the afternoon. And the light is really different when above ground.

  1. Oops! You got caught! Nice shot of the subway map, portraying the massive network of underground train lines collectively known as the New York City Subway.

  2. Nice juxtaposition, I bet that guy is good at poker.

  3. the lines of the subway must be nearly endless.
in the eyes of the young man seems to be an idea of the distance... - a shot, which shows beyond itself.

  4. Just throw a business card at hime and RUN!!!

  5. I love how you've managed to catch so many different perspectives on the NYC subway system. All of your shots manage to embody a surprisingly different flavor, despite the singular theme. That guy's look says so many things, and so little at the same time.

  6. Did he say anything after this, or did you just ride on in silence?

  7. We pretty much pretended nothing happened. I had just shot some images out the window so I think eveyone had written me off as a tourist and were just going to let me slide. I only had one more stop so we didn't have to pretend for long.

  8. Thats gotta be a little bit uncomfortable, especially if you arnt socializing with the people in these pictures...

  9. Another excellent photo. You are certainly one cool headed photographer that's for sure. Well done sir!

  10. I like a lot of things about this photo, especially the shadows and his piercing stare.
