Grand Central Station - 9:45am

  1. Great shot. It's all so drab, and then BAM -- red coat. Very nice.

  2. Can't remember where I read it now, but I heard "if you see red, shoot it!". They were right and you've got a great photo.

I wondered whether you might let me know what camera you use? Also, do you use Noise Ninja or similar? I'm thinking you probably use a fairly small camera and probably get a fair bit of noise in these low-light situations.

    Cheers,
    Andy

  3. I'm using a Canon D20. Not a small camera. This camera produces beautiful files, even at high ISO. 90% of my images are shot at ISO 800. At that ISO I don't often fool with the noise unless the image needs it. At 1600 I run the images through Noise Ninja. This is a very good tool. I'm still getting the hang of it though.
    Hope that helps. Best, Travis
